Eh, I suppose I can add a Fado surviving to the list of things to AU out. I agree that it doesn't feel right for him to just 'give up and die'... feels like a spineless coward's choice. Now if he did it and played decoy only to slip out of DK-mindsnatcher's grasp, that would make for a better tale.
