In which I am... moody and picky.
I bought Xenoblade Chronicles yesterday and after playing it exactly 11 hours, I have to say...
I'm unimpressed :/
The characters are okay (the English voice acting is... sexy XD), the story seems okay so far and the fighting system, while confusing, rather fun. BUT. Fiora´s death? Pissed me off so much. Not because it was particularly sad (well, it was kinda sad), but because I know that she was only killed for Angsting. So cheap. AND. I don't know if I'm alone in this, but the blatant fanservice for male players just... disgusts me. I just cannot with it anymore. Fiora´s and Sharla´s original outfits are a joke. At least Fiora´s could be made "better" by giving her leg armour in form of leggins, but Sharla doesn't have that luck. Who the fuck goes fighting in hotpants? Gawd, I hate looking at her because of that.
Something that didn't "bother" me, but... has anyone noticed that they way the characters walk is pretty... ridiculous? I mean, the way Shulk is walking... is loltastic. And the over-acting XD
So, from what I've seen until now; a pretty 08/15 RPG, but still fun. We'll see how it continues.
