Oops, teel deer

I'm sorry to disappoint, but I'm no Sailor Moon fan. I've never watched more than one episode and didn't get through the first chapters of the anime. But I do know about them. At the time it was airing here, I was in my "shonen manga" only phase and when I was slowly starting to read shojo-oriented manga, I was past the state that Magical Girls are the Best Thing Evar. There were a few Magical Girls series that I liked (Tokyo Mew Mew for example), but I never truly got into that genre.

The senshi uniforms are extremely well-known, of course, and would fit the Bros so well.

Re3: Puh, that is hard to say. Well, there were several things that came together. First, the need to ship the bros because goddamn Fado had chemistry with all of them. Second, until then I had pretty much only shipped het pairings if I shipped at all, so I was pretty unsure how to proceed with Fado and Viggy. Third, it was hard to decide where shipping began and where I only saw friendship. Fourth, because of reason three it was hard to determine how their dynamic would be.
Those four points led me to not ship them yet. And then my vivid imaginations played around with them to see how I could get behind them. Now the other incluence came into play. I always liked genderbending and in some discussion at the time (probably something about nature vs. nurture) it came up and I got back into developing fic for it. The two things came together and Fadia came into existence. She was insanely fun and instantly had a great chemistry with Viggy. By writing about them, I grew more secure in writing both Viggy and Fado's relationship.

So, even if it doesn't sound particularly nice, Fadia came into existence because I couldn't figure out how to make them work in a slash pairing and because genderbending is just fucking awesome. But the first part is not too bad, I think, because now I ship them in all forms (apart from femVigarde with them; she stubbornly refuses to work with me).
