I agree, I dislike the relationship too (although the loss of control thing was nicely done). I'm so used to stories developing relationships I don't buy/like, I try my best to ignore it, so I didn't even think to mention it.

And sorry I didn't give a warning about the assault. That was bad thinking on my part.
