Hm. I'm not entirely sure if that would help him battle his HUGE insecurity (if he were the "wife" in the relationship now otoh...) Naw, seriously. If the twins (or one twin) gave him the support he needed, it would still be only one step. I do believe he would at least also need Vigarde´s support and probably some positive feedback from nobles/peasants/knights/etc. The chance that he would be consumed if ruling was left to him would still be relatively high. Twins or not.
