So, I wrote this thing here which contains a happy Knoll. At least at the end 8D Oh Knoll, you are a gloombox through and through.

Also, am I the only one who thinks about the character´s voices sometimes? So, Hayden has more of a brighter voice while Fado and Viggy have deeper voices (not that deep though). Seth has a rather deep voice as well. Most other people have average voices, neither really bright nor dark. Also, Eirika has a relatively deep voice for a woman. Ismaire has a really sexy voice; smooth and nice and soft. She can seduce with the sound of her voice 8D

Also, imagining Lyon with a really, really deep voice causes huge giggle fits. It's awesome 8D

It is soooo cute~
I'm just dying of d'awwwwwwwwwww. (the brother-adoption thing reminded me of Elphin and Klein, so that might factor in, too.)

I definitely think about voices, but it's hard for me to describe them? Like, I can always hear in my mind what the people I write about, fandom or regular stuff, are saying and what they sound like.

I'm glad that you're happy~ I mastered your challenge >8D

Describing voices is hard. I just put them in three general categories; bright - average - dark. And then they may get special features like Izzy. It's all very vague. Just like their height XD

You did indeed~
Little-Knoll might just be the cutest thing ever. The quietness and skittishness just seems so perfect.

Mmm yeah - I can clearly describe a few, like Knoll's is somewhat deep and very, very soft, Eliwood's is surprisingly hearty and powerful given his fan-nickname of "Pansywood" (but it cracks still when he's upset/excited). It's easier for my regular characters, really, maybe because I've had them for so long.

What I did not add -- because it would be too sad -- was that this happened quite recently after the death of Knoll´s mother. So his insecurity about the new environment added to his natural quietness. God, I want to pet him now as well ><

Knoll's soft and quiet. Agreed on Eliwood. He can very much control his voice; he adjusts the power in his voice to the situation at hand.

Awwwwww ;^; That adds a whole new sad-time to the whole thing.
Somehow, though, I feel the worst for Vigarde in the situation, though. Being faced with his pimp-blood-descendant and not being able to be open or really soothing to him as he is with Lyon.

Also, Roy imitates his father's nuance, but it always puts people off because his voice isn't fully changed at the start. XD

I knoooooooow. Those Grads are just too tragic. But that's why Viggy put his arm around Knoll in the end. Even if he couldn't tell Knoll why, but he wanted to hug him and make him feel at home ;.;

The thought of Roy commanding his army with his voice in full puberty vocal change is highly amusing XD

I figured that was why. So sweet, and yet, so ;^; inducing. Poor Viggy.

He's fifteen. It's GOT to happen.

Ya know, a fic about how Roy commands his army and they still respect him even though his voices breaks all the time and sounds strange (and funny) would be kinda awesome. (Kids with a breaking voice are often ridiculed, or so I hear, so I could totally see that nagging at his self-confidence)

I'm with this 100%.

Voices! I love voices. I like your assessment of Hayden-Fado-and-Vigarde and agree that Hayden would have the "brightest" of the three.

Eirika has a relatively deep voice for a woman

Interesting. Not what I expected, so... interesting.

I usually peg characters in musical terms. I tend to think of Ephraim as a definite tenor and Innes as a slightly husky baritone. Eirika I think of more as a mezzo-soprano range. L'Arachel is a high, high soprano-- piercing. Rennac has a sexy-smooth voice at the lower end of the tenor range.

Totes agree with Raphi on Eliwood having a powerful voice, and I don't think Hector is a great rumbling basso profundo either. Some big guys don't have massive voices to match.

Marth is really tricky because he has a voice, but it's not speaking my language, and it's mentally hard for me to "translate" those vocal qualities into English or anything else. But the voice he does have suits him perfectly IMO.

I tried to imagine Hayden with a deep voice, but that ended with a giggle bout on my part. Somehow my mind already puts the voices down as soon as I see the characters.

Eirika is mostly... a random decision. But it would be boring to give all women bright or average voices and men dark or average voices, wouldn't it? I give her a voice similar to Fado.

I've played the violin and the guitar for a few years and I still can't read a music sheet XD I'm really not good with music or musical terms. L'Arachel with a piercing voice = poor poor Rennac XD
