I've been writing this weekend. That makes me quite happy :D Unfortunately, thinking about my exams makes me not happy >< Fortunately, I'm thinking more about writing. Though it seems that "tragedy" is the only genre I'm able to write now. And I'm using a character that I don't like. Maybe that's why I can write tragedy so easily.
Though, somehow I feel sorry for Lyon. In some way he is interesting, but this way is not my way (if you understand what I mean). He always irked me when I was playing FE8. At the beginning I didn't feel sorry for killing him, to be honest. Now I pity him. Probably because I'm developing a headcanon now.... I don't know. He's a tragic character, therefore the genre is fitting.
I also started a Seth/Eirika tragedy one, but I don't know if I finish that. But I hope that I'm not losing this inspiration. I want to write another ghost story.

I'm so glad to hear someone else say that. The first few times I played the game I just wanted to smack him! I do feel badly for him now but that didn't happen until I actually wrote about him. Mostly he's just... not what I want in story. He's far too weak. When I play games like Fire Emblem or other fantasy stories I'm looking for heroes, for people I can admire, who have qualities I can aspire to. I mean you can see the difference with Ephraim and Eirika; they, too, lose their father and inherit their kingdom under awful circumstances, but they're able to take on the mantle of responsibility in a way Lyon is simply incapable of. Lyon, in spite of his good intentions, is quite simply not Emperor material.

Good luck with your writing and your exams!

But it's not good yet D: Besides, it's just, like, one and a half pages yet and it hasn't even really started yet. But after the Lyon-oneshot I will continue with that. Patience, my friend.

I hope you'll enjoy writing about Lyon, after all. xD'
