I don't think there's anything wrong with not liking to see characters paired certain ways, honestly. As long as you're not being a snit about it, you know? I mean, for example, I really love Cormag/Tana, and I don't really like pairing either with another person. But I'm not going to get up in someone's business about how it's the only good pairing, or it's "more canon" than some other pairing, or get really defensive if someone gives (civilly presented) reasons why they don't like it, you know?

I mean, it's fandom. It's not work There's no reason why you'd have to read or look at something you don't like, no matter what the reason you don't like it is. Just as long as you're not obnoxious about it or spoiling other people's fun.

But if it's more like, I dunno, "seeing X not with Y in any form causes me severe emotional distress"? Then my only advice would be to just step away from the fandom entirely.
