- Ashnard is like Zephiel just without the issues to explain his crazy demeanor. He might even be the love child of Zephiel and Valter. ... *would ship Zephiel/Valter just for the lulz. Doesn't believe they would like each other, though*

- I have the feeling that there's an influx of Ephraim/Lyon stories lately. Am I alone in the impression?

- The Fado Survives AU is so unbelievably fun 8D

- I kinda want to post all the things. Lol, silly self, they're not finished yet. XD

- Needs more GameOne in the world. Also, I'm not a fan of RPF, but dude, I would ship them. Casually. If Wolf would just stop flirting with all the guys, I wouldn't ship anyone XD

I've sent the Christmas Cards today :3 I have no idea how long the shipping takes at this time of the year, so sooner is better than later.

Unrelated to that, I really kinda want to write a Fado Survives AU. My only excuse and reason is Game Needs Moar Fado and the whole thing is mostly... pointless.

Even more unrelated to the above stuff; Lego Piraten makes me rofl. I mean, we are talking about PIRATES. So even though Willy´s dad was hanged for crimes he didn't do, he was still a pirate and a criminal. He stole gold. He is a bad guy. Really. And you cannot tell me that Roger is a "good" guy. He is also a pirate, not just an "adventurous daredevil". Lol. It's okay, really, you make it clear that almost everybody in these audio books is corrupt or a criminal in some way. Pirates are good.

PS: I still want Roger/Baddog slash sooooooooooo badly. :(

Terranigma <3 I shouldn't have started playing you again. I'll have to force myself to do other things than just playing now <3 But I love this game so much 8D Games with topics like self-sacrificing are just... there's something really compelling about them. Illusion of Time and Lufia 2 had something similar going on; I wasn't too much of a fangirl for Illusion of Time since there were a few instances (i.e. dungeons) that were really no fun, but the relationshps between the hero and his companions and between the companions themselves were fun. I remember liking the romance Lance and the blue-haired girl had (his name is the only one I remember XD). Aw, and the death of the piggy D8

Oh, and Lufia 2 <3 I loved all of the characters. And the relationship between Maxim and Selan was a bit sudden (there was a built-up, but it was still hm-hm); I didn't expect the marriage (mostly because I've never seen a marriage in a game XD). But I really liked it. I did like Tia as well, but it would've never worked with her and Maxim. They just expected different things from life and if they had come together, one of them would've had to more or less give up such a huge part of their personality... Maxim never wanted to be a shop owner and would've been dead unhappy with staying inside all day. And Tia was no warrior who loved to travel around and slay monsters. Some people might be able to live with such differences, but those two did not belong to that group. And honestly, it was awesome that Tia decided for herself that that was not what she wanted and left (after the first big adventure was over) to return to the life she had before.

And the Guy and Dekar bromance, ffffffffff. They were fun~

What was I talking about again? Oh, Terranigma, yes. Also awesome. By the way, maybe I didn't notice it before but... did the translators insert the gay ram couple? I mean, the way the living ram talked about his "companion"? It very much sounded like they were a couple. Hmhm. The ram couple is such a sad part anyway. ;A; I want to save the living ram. But it is impossible and I have to leave him behind to either starve or freeze to death.

But the main topic is sacrificing and self-sacrificing so that was to be expected ;v; Still. Poor ram.

Hnnnn. Anyway, I feel like maybe writing fic for Terranigma. Maybe.

Edit: Somehow Fluffy reminds me a bit of Kyuubei. Especially *Spoiler* since the first Fluffy is pretty evil, actually. How he and the Elder try to force Melina to kill Ark... Not nice. Well, that and the fact that they are using Ark to gain control of the Light World. *Spoiler End*

On another topic; I'm just watching Asterix (the cartoon movies) and it makes me nostalgic ;3 I watched that quite a bit when I was younger. And read the comics. Yay Asterix and Idefix and Obelix and Miraculix~

Ever since the discussion on xirysa´s journal with mark, I was thinking that I really need to write some political shenanigans with the bro kings. So, I got a bit inspired and hopefully I can write something later. And I also kinda want to write something with Hayden and Viggy as well so it will probably turn into more characterization oneshots (because, boy, that is far too long for a drabble :D) Well, we'll see.

Also, damn those naughty Minnesänger, roflmao. Tagelieder can be so dirty sometimes XD I love it. While the word order is really confusing at times, oh those naughty metaphors 8D I think I might need to look into them moar.

Should I be fangirling about historical figures? Yes, yes I should and will fangirl die Staufer, especially Barbarossa, Friedrich II. and Heinrich VII. And I noticed that I did for almost a year now (unconsciously though). Oh, and btw, self, STOP BUYING SO MANY BOOKS ndashgafausoi You already had a slight financial negative last month. You wanted to not throw money out of the window for books this month. BUT. How could I not buy a book about medieval European literature and Latin Medieval literature? And there are chapters about certain types of literature from that time AND SO MUCH LOVE *squee* Andandandand a book about the women in the life of Friedrich II. Which reminds me that I've bought a book about queens in the early Middle Ages a few weeks ago and I don't know where I left it >8I I have to look for it. I stopped around the Visigoths and I want to read it now. Kinda. After reading more about Friedrich´s mother. (BTW, I so love those old names <3)

Which reminds me. There was a big exhibition about the Staufer last year or so because there was some kind of anniversary (Stauferjahr). It was awesome :D And I did buy a book there that I haven't read as well yet D8 Nargl. And even before that (though it rekindled my want) I've wanted to write fanfiction about Heinrich VII XD Because DADDY ISSUES. Are fun 8D Well, his life story is kinda sad and I was all :< while reading it.

AND I still have more books lying around I've never finished ;^; A book on food in the Middle Ages, about inventions in the Middle Ages, a few books on literature that I have to read (for Uni and for fun) and other random books. Such as Caesar´s Gallischer Krieg. XD

Last part, I swear. Since the new prompt from fe_contest  is up, I'm scouting my brain for ideas. I might want to write a bit creepiness (because creepiness is fun) about zombie!Fado (what did you expect, honestly) or other zombies. Though I'm not completely sure it falls under game mechanics? But creepinessssssss~

There are re-runs of "Wildes Kinderzimmer" on TV, which means one hour of cute animal babies 8D Dawwwwwwwww, kittens everywhere 8D And bunnies and dogs (but they're not that cute) and sometimes more rare animals like lizards, white hedgehogs and birds, but the kittens are still the best part 8D

Anyway.

ZOOM, have to fangirl Franz. Not FE Franz, "Die Räuber" Franz. I love his first monologue; it always makes me think and I find his sentiments interesting. He's cynical, manipulative, full of hate for his father and brother, pragmatic, not idealistic (Idealist can quickly go on my nerves. Not all, but some) and all in all he's a damn bastards who plans to get rid of his brother and father. But I still can sympathize with him; he was always ignored, compared to his brother and neglected. And it kinda reads like he was also bullied as a kid. I love the fact that he's not just a black/white character. I mean, Karl does have a good side as well, but he's also damn flawed (He's still an asshole). But Franz motivation is so... understandable. I dunno, he's a magnificent bastard 8D And I love them.

Also, I love villains. I mean, when reading "Pirate Latitudes" I was rooting for Cazalla and Bosquet (Not the other two, because they weren't as fun). Maybe I'm doing it wrong XD

Ya know... I kinda want to read fic about Franz. But who would write fic for Friedrich Schiller´s "Die Räuber" XD I think I'll still look. Hope dies last. 8D

Back when I first read Lessing´s "Emilia Galloti" I always pictured Marinelli as Soren. Even though I didn't even know Soren back then. Colour me surprised when I suddenly noticed that THEY TOTALLY LOOK ALIKE 8D It made re-reading it more funny XD And it does kinda, in a way fit? Ffffffff
