I've sent the Christmas Cards today :3 I have no idea how long the shipping takes at this time of the year, so sooner is better than later.

Unrelated to that, I really kinda want to write a Fado Survives AU. My only excuse and reason is Game Needs Moar Fado and the whole thing is mostly... pointless.

But moar Fado~ Also, Fado with only one arm, because headcanon says that he loses his sword arm in the fight with Vigarde. The fun potential is high with this one.  Unfortunately the laziness of this writer is also high...

Even more unrelated to the above stuff; Lego Piraten makes me rofl. I mean, we are talking about PIRATES. So even though Willy´s dad was hanged for crimes he didn't do, he was still a pirate and a criminal. He stole gold. He is a bad guy. Really. And you cannot tell me that Roger is a "good" guy. He is also a pirate, not just an "adventurous daredevil". Lol. It's okay, really, you make it clear that almost everybody in these audio books is corrupt or a criminal in some way. Pirates are good.

PS: I still want Roger/Baddog slash sooooooooooo badly. :(

Oh man. Oh Man! I've just been hit by such a nostalgia slap. Somehow I remembered the Lego Piraten Hörbuch and immediately googled it. I still have a few of the casettes, but not all. Oh god, and the moment I hear the intro music, my heart sped up and I'm all "8DDDDDDDDDD *squee*" and my skin tingles happily. Also, the guy voicing Captain Roger is a famous voice actor, but I can never remember his name. Also, Captain Roger is awesome. 8D He's like, the epitome of what a pirate is supposed to be to me (and how he should sound like~~~)

Oh, and since I'm just on topic (and because Captain Roger kind of reminds me of him); I always thought Dagobert Duck, also known as Scrooge McDuck, was the best Disney character. I loved his stories the most. Then Tick, Trick and Track, also known as Huey, Dewey, and Louie (strange names) and Grandma Duck was also fun. 8D

So, finished "Pirate Latitudes" by Michael Crichton and it was definitely a fun read. I liked the main characters, some nice bastards XD, and I loved the villains, even bigger bastards~ The books has some nice twists and the ending partly really surprised me, because I already forgot that character X was such a bastard 8D I'm still a bid miffed that Cazalla died so early, but there are enough villains that are also fabulous (even though they're not valteresque). The parts with the kraken strained my suspense of disbelief very much and I didn't like them. All the other adventures were fun though.
I sometimes had a little problem with the language, because I still don't know all ship jargon. I could follow the action, but sometimes I was all o.O Also, the nastiness everywhere really adds to the atmosphere, even though it bordered on TMI sometimes XD But it did teach me what I'll probably gloss over in my Pirate AU (which I still plan on writing in the future).

So, if you want some nice pirate-y action and aren't squicked by a few nasty deaths and TMI in regard to hygiene, you might have fun with it. I definitely got something out of it; I still have to research much more for my Pirate AU~ And it's not that long; you could probably finish in a day or two.

Mostly an excuse to use my new icon, but also because I might got a story idea for Mansel. So, I just noticed (a night of revelations) that all my bros have happy relationships. Alright, relatively if I look at Viggy, but the gist is that he still gets the woman he loves. Izzy and Noam is a bit more complicated because it is an arranged marriage which turned into love later, but still not what I want to do.

Namely, a relationship that doesn't work out. 8D Not in the sense of falling out of love because I'm in the mood for more tragic things~ It will involve Mansel´s brother and is in general a "family tragedy" (God, I love family stories <3) Which should show the circumstances that led him to live in celibate (because I'm forcing that on him. Yup, no childless marriage, just the old mean celibate 8D). Difficult family relations, yesssss.

Though it will be hard writing Mansel. We have almost 0 information about his character D8 I'll have to think about him a lot (not that that was ever a problem XD I love developing characters~) and his brother and his father, actually, and probably some other people. Nnnnnnn, I wants it.

Nothing new on my side. I still feel no motivation to write for the fe_contest . Bad me, I know. But everything I write, is urgh. If ya know what I mean.
