scarletmorningSoooooooo, because I'm a bit bored and want to spam your flists >8D I'ma gonna do the WIP meme that I didn't do when you all did it. Because I'm a boss, clearly ;P And because I kinda want to have a little overview over what I've started and haven't finished yet.
Magvel
1. Homecoming; Tana, Innes, Hayden, Aileen
I think I've mentioned somewhere that I've wanted to write a fic about how Hayden and Aileen react when Tana comes home after war. She says in her support with Syrene that she's a bit scared about how her father will react. Syrene calms her by saying that they will be too happy to see her to stay angry at Tana. And well, that's mostly an excuse for family drama and happiness in the end. I'm a sap, what can I say.
2. Papa Bear; Eirika, Fado
I can't stop giving Fado "bearlike" features. Booming and deep laugh, size,hairiness (yes, I know, shut up ><), aggression and fierce protection. I dunno. It really fits to describe him as a bear. And Eirika notices that as well, so there. ;P Besides, moar family cuteness.
3. Peaceful Slumber; Ephraim, Eirika, Seth, Fado sort of
I've mentioned that a few times, I believe. It's the "story about where Fado´s corpse is and what happened to it". However, since Ephraim is noncompliant, I probably have to rewrite parts since it doesn't feel like I'm writing "my Ephraim". (And I managed to give Orson some kind of "good" side. He's mad but for most parts has rational bouts, I think. Yeah, yeah, optimistic, I know, but I don't buy "He's completely mad". Him having at least a few remnants of decency makes him more interesting.)
4. Thronebound Souls; Twins, Seth, Fado and Vigarde, others
I like ghost stories, what can I say. Thanks to the magic the DK used to resurrect Viggy he is now chained to the real world, namely to the place where he died again; the throne in Grado. And since DK magic is evil, everyone that was killed by Vigarde are chained to the throne as well. And since the magic is out of control other souls who find no rest are absorbed as well. It's not a nice situation. So, after they finally get that something is wrong (zombieFado is involved 8D), the rescue team goes and tries to save the day. Yippieh~ I don't know if I ever finish it XD
5. Stage on
Weeeeeeeeell, maybe you remember my post about how I've wanted to make a slightly wacky stage script for FE8 with Viggy and Fado as snarky commenters? Yeah, I did start it. It's not much yet, but I am definitely amused. I do think I have to finish that some time in the future. XD I do believe it is hilarious.
Lover's Challenge
1. "Who"; Fadia, Vigarde
That is the start of everything, so to speak. Their first meeting as kids (in which Fadia is a bit bratty) and then their next meeting when they're ... about 20? Yes, I believe so. Where Fadia kicks his ass in a fight and everything seems like they won't become friends. (However, Vigarde does get a bit fascinated by her.)
2. "Accident"; Geoffrey/Elincia
In which a drunk one-night-stand happens. And they are all awkward around each other afterwards. And which ends in them starting dating. Yeah, that's all. I'm not entirely sure I still like it. Hm....
3. "Beginnings"; first part of the Moulder/Hayden arc
Oh. Oh! I love this story so much <3 And I'm quite contend with what I have until now <3 I first said I've already finished this one, but I noticed that I have to add more scenes to make the beginning of Moulder´s crush more clearly. (And those necessary scenes wouldn't have fit with the next prompts, "Middles" and "End(ings?)") Sooooooooo, moar is good. And it does have a bit "meta" about Frelian culture in it. And religion (which was a pain in the ass, really. Writing about religion is so awkward ><) Anyway, love it, will definitely finish it.
4. "Choices"; Fadia/Vigarde
A piece from somewhere in the middle of their arc (Yup, I didn't write them in order though maybe I should >>) Anyway, it's mostly about Fadia´s choice if she wants to turn her relationship with Vigarde into a romance or just keep being friends. But I don't particularly like what I've written so far here. It feels stiff and choppy. Rewriting is probably in order.
5. "Touch"; Fado/Catalina
Aah, Catalina´s death fic. Very sad. Unfortunately I've never managed to get back into the mood to continue it. It plays with both Fado´s and Catalina´s need for physical closeness. Hmmm, definitely belongs in the category "Want to finish it".
