Am I awesome? Yes, I am, for once. I finally managed to find a title for my bros 8D With the Flavour of Friendship (Oh, and here on dreamwidth) Yes, not the best title of the world but sooooooo much better than the horribly cracky ones. Yay.

Anyway, I think I'll look at my one-sided Moulder/Hayden story later. Maybe it'll be ready to post in the near future as well 8D

So, finished my prompts for the little meme back then. Which you can find at dreamwidth and somewhere on ff.net (too lazy to look there). (You can still give me more prompts if you want. Here or at the other post.)

Then I've updated my bro and Mansel (and theoretically Izzy) characterization drabbles; here the "I hate you" fill for Mansel and then the "When are you coming home?" fills for the bros and their wives and Mansel and L'Arachel. 8D I love the bro wives <3

Apart from that; my neck hurts. It's kinda stiff and the muscles protest against something. And it's not like anything happened that could've prompt this. :/ Just, I woke up yesterday and it hurt. Maybe it's a result of the nightmare from yesterday (I was almost dying all the time again. And the second part was not that much better >:I ) Or I've started to grit my teeth while sleeping again. Nnnnnnnnnnn, do not want.

Alright, back to business. Preparing a presentation, that is. You know how much fun that one is.

 I just played 5 hours straight Assassin´s Creed II with my little brother. It was awesome. I love that game. I love my little brother; he just sits next to me and lets me play though he wants to play his own games as well. <3 Hopefully we can play again next weekend <3

Wrote something today, weeeeeeeee~ University bro AU for 10_orders . By the way, I seem to have the (horrible) ability to turn every crack in semi-srs bsns crack. I mean, pirate bros => srs pirate and navy AU, university bros => srs exploration of bro relationships. Don't get any other AU ideas to me. I'll turn them into something serious D8

So, I remembered that I've wanted to ramble a bit more about the "re-marriage not possible in Magvel" idea. I've noticed, uhm, on Monday I think, in my lecture about religion in the early modern times that the Catholics had more or less the system I was thinking about; namely that the marriage oath is unbreakable and can only be give once. So even if the partners manage to get "divorced" or become a widow/widower, they can't remarry because their oath doesn't die with their partner. And I do like that concept (because of angst 8D At least a bit~); mostly because in Viggy´s and Fado´s case, and Izzy´s actually, that would mean there is not only a reason why they don't have new spouses (not Izzy, because we more or less know why she hasn't remarried), but should they have affairs that would add an interesting facet. Though in my headcanon Fado has another reason why he wouldn't remarry anyway (about which I wanted to write a story >> for the fe_contest actually, but then I wasn't inspired enough). And Izzy would probably also have the issue that a new husband might try to diminish her authority and push her back, which she probably wouldn't like.

Now, should the wife/husband die before any children can be born, that pretty much sucks for a king/queen. Which doesn't mean they get the permission to remarry, because no, not possible. But. It is made easier to recognize bastard children and make them legal. So a child from a concubine can be made heir relatively easy. (Even against the wish of the father; you just have to prove that it's his child.) So they can't have another official spouse, only a semi-official life partner, or so. Now, if you're a non-noble person, well, sucks to be you, mostly. It's not like concubines were viewed as really respectable and normally you didn't make it public that you had them. And how probable is it for a farmer to have a concubine? Nah, you either have to be quick or hope that you have nephews/nieces who can inherit your property.

Or. That oath thing only happens if you marry in a church of Latona. But I don't believe that you have to do that. Yeah, I have to put down my thoughts on religion in Magvel soon; to make it short: there is still mostly polytheism in Magvel and you can marry with the blessing of another god/goddess as well. It's mostly that the church of Latona is slowly supplanting the other gods and goddesses (and the progress is far from finished). And the royalty at least is probably part of the church of Latona (mostly due to the fact that their ancestors were so close to Latona). The people are just... whatever.

Anyway, the concept is interesting 8D And an interesting type of drama happens. (Remarrying is awesome, of course, but drama is as well~ In a modern times AU I would totally remarry Viggy and Hayden, and maybe even Fado, but as I said he has some issues with it)

So, I finished a few of my "drabbles". Namely, part 1 of the "I hate you" prompt XD They can be found here at dreamwidth. And I can say that I feel comfortable with writing the bros in that context. Now I have to use the other prompts for other situation~ Oh, and Izzy and Mansel are still missing. But they, well, are much harder than the trio. :/ Especially Mansel. Since I feel that there will be something like a "sermon" involved. And writing sermons makes me uncomfortable. But I havvvvvvvvvvvvve to. Mansel is too awesome to not be written about.

Anyway.

I kinda do want to write Thor :3 Hm, Thor~ (Mostly Odin, of course, because dads~ <3)

Which reminds me. A few years ago I was still of the mindset that old names, and I mean really old names, are ugly. I didn't like them and found they had a bad sound. And now? Now I love names like Chlodwig, Thrasamund, Amalaberga, Amalafridas, Theoderich, Caretena and so on. And the urge to use them somewhere is far too big XD Oh my.

And totally unrelated; should I ever marry I want them to play Turisas at my wedding. Seriously. We won't dance to electric music or disco or pop or country or whatever. We will dance to rock, metal, pagan metal, medieval metal, pirate metal and battle metal. (Or at least after all the older people left) Yay 8D

Also, self. Why are you so tired? You have no reason to be tired. Well, at least it's the same every Wednesday so I am warned beforehand. Still, self, what's up??

Brain, please switch over to German again. I start to find it irritating when I'm searching my brain for a German word and all I can come up with is an English one. Also, about half of my thoughts are in English. Can I start thinking in German again? Especially strange is it when you mix everything.

Anyway.

I think I'm going to either continue my battle scene practice or start on the characterization exercises. Both will contain bros, so at least that is a fact 8D Well, at least I hope to do that. The internet is shiny tonight... Or I'll work on the outline of my Mansel story. I'm trying to get the ages of Markos and Amandine right and ugh, juggling with ages.

Also, I noticed that all my bros have different types of romances 8D I quite like it. Also, I really want to write Markos/Amandine because I find the age difference I gave them interesting (just 12 years). Hm~

When I'm trying to fall asleep my brain often wanders and yesterday it decided to contemplate bro pairings - what a surprise! 8D So, I came to some conclusions; some of them astound me.

First; Fadia/Vigarde and Fadia/Hayden are awesome. I love them both. Though for several reasons I always choose Fadia/Vigarde. (Fadia and Hayden often had situtations where it was easy to transgress from "friends" to "lovers" but they always decided against it.)

Second; Fadia/Fem!Hayden is awesome. My brain decided that and even came up with an adorbale confession scene >< Both are cute~ But. I can't see Fadia/Fem!Vigarde. I tried but it doesn't work. Strange. But not as strange as point 3.

Third; I can neither see Fado/Hayden nor Fado/Vigarde. For unknown reasons I can't see any maleslash there. I tried but my mind always goes blank. Very strange. Maybe I just prefer the platonic broship. But then, it's nice that it's not always about romantic love, isn't it.

I conclude that I'm still in a "het and gen" phase, but "femslash" is sneaking in as well. At least fembroslash 8D

Also, the positions on the navy and pirate ship are more or less fixed now:

Also, I've decided that the pirate story will have a third person narrator who is omniscient, but concentrates on a few characters; namely, Hayden, Fado and Viggy, maybe Tana and there might be a few scenes with Aileen (but I'm not sure about them yet). Hayden and Fado&Viggy are definitely the main characters, everyone else will only get the focus in special scenes. 8D
