-Family stuff, whether it's angst or floof, especially around fathers/father figures
-Pairings/relationship stuff
-usually upbeat endings

This just reminds me that there are not enough moms in FE to write about (Izzy is a meanieface because it's almost impossible for me to write her D8). They're all dead.

Well - there is the possibility of post-game fic, too :D Character A and Character B get hitched, and have ZILLIONS OF BABIES.
Not to mention things like the FE7 crowd and their canon children in FE6.

I think I might need to write Eleanora in the future. With adorbs little Eliwood. Or maybe Uther and little Hector. Oh! Or Marcus with little Eliwood or Roy, because Marcus is fun (no mom, but fun 8D)

There's also all kinds of untapped family potential elsewhere - like I don't think I've ever seen fic for Mordred and Elphin, despite canon laying out that Mordred pretty much loves his son to teeny tiny prettyboy bits.
