Mmhh.... stuff

First, I wanted to rant a bit. But I decided against it, because I'm in a better mood now. I'm gonna rant about Henry James and the crap that is "Portrait of a Lady" another time. BTW, I just started reading Jane Austen“s "Emma". Until now it's plenty of fun. (Mr. Knightley, hurr, hurr....)
Buuuuuut! Instead of an annoying rant I bring you something else. Because earlier I was just thinking about fanfiction and my train of thought changed its direction towards thinking about FE characters and Seth and Mr. Knightley and blah (And Seth Knightly and Eirika King :D). Somehow that made me think of a crack support convo I did back then for the Valentine“s Day challenge of the fireemblem-club on deviantArt. I only published it there, but I think this journal here can use some cracktastic support convos.
Aaaaand I'm not gonna tell you who's supporting. :D I only give you two clues.
First: One of them is the awesome General of Renais.
Second: the other one is a princess.

Enjoy :D

Ah I see the crack supports are vaguely based off her supports with Ephraim, right? I would think the mention of her parents would be a bit of a faux pas though since, as we find out from her support with Eirika, L'Arachel's parents passed away when she was very young. Nicely done though! Poor Seth. He seems sort of confused. ;D
I totally agree about how difficult it is to write L'Arachel. Last December I took requests from my flist and one friend asked for an Ephraim/L'Arachel piece -- which I managed, but it was tricky.

A bit. Though I did not actively think about them when I wrote it. I just started and somehow it wounded up that way. My mind probably knew passively how she would react, but it didn't really connected those two things.

To me it didn't seem that it was much of a problem for her to talk about her parents with Eirika. It didn't look like she was uncomfortable with it. Sure, she was sad, but she seemed to be able to talk freely about her parents.
Confused!Seth is cute. :D

19/5/10 22:02 (UTC)As to the names, actually they're familiar to me as I used the very same names when I wrote an modern-day AU Seth/Eirika story a couple of years back, complete with Jane Austen jokes. ;D
