London and Mr. Knightley

So, I have two things to say today.
1. I'm going to visit London with my family. We will leave tomorrow evening and stay until Wednesday. It's gonna be fun :D I definitely want to visit the British Library (150 million books :DDDD). I don't know if I will have access to the internet, so I probably can't vote for the

2. :D ..... MR. KNIGHTLEY IS AWESOME!!
I just finished "Emma" today and Mr. Knightley is so, so.... Seth-ish. It's awesome. (Or Seth is .... knightley. .... Oh Lord, the God of Pun will hit me with his Frying Pan of Doom for that bad pun.). The book in general is awesome; the characters are actually lovable or at least likable (Mrs. Elton). Jane Austen really can write unique and still believable characters. And her style is good and she makes me want to read more. In contrast to other authors.... Yes, I look at you, Henry James. I have your book for nearly three months now and I'm only at chapter 12 or something of the first volume. I read "Emma" in one week (If I had had more time, I would have been quicker). You, Henry James, are a bad, baaaaaad writer. Or maybe just "Portrait of a Lady" sucks, I don't know. I grant you the benefit of doubt and assume that you just had a bad day.
The chapter with the confession was awesome. XD And everything after that as well. God, there was so much awesome in it (Do I use the word "awesome" too much? Because, you know, I love that word. It expresses everything I want to say.)
Also, my brain instantly went into fangirl-mode:
Seth = Mr Knightley (Which is totally obvious)
And for the sake of fluff and fangirling and general cuteness:
Emma = Eirika (even if their personalities are different >< But my mind forces me.)
Next thing would be:
Harriet = Tana
I can't shake it, but both have that airhead-vibe. And I don't want to be mean with saying it. Airhead is more... literary and just means that they're both... I don't know, have their head in the sky. She just struck me as a bit similar to Tana. Besides, she really grows up in the third volume.
Then, in the first volume, I thought that:
Mr. Elton = Ephraim would fit. But after the second and third, I changed it to Mr. Elton = Innes (I'm mean, I know.) Though, I'm not sure about that anymore. Mr. Elton is just Mr. Elton.
Also, especially with the supposed love triangle, this was pretty obvious:
Jane = Natasha
That was obvious, wasn't it? :D And therefore, also fitting character-wise:
Frank = Joshua
Now enough with Fire Emblem comparisons. While they have similarities, they're their own persons. (Though Mr. Knightley always had Seth´s face. I couldn't erase that from my mind.). While Mr. Knightly definitely is one of my favourite characters, there are two characters that I heart dearly as well:
1. Mr. Woodhouse. I mean, come on. He's awesome :D I really like those slightly whimsical characters.
2. Mr. John Knightley. Yes, his brother George is awesome in his own right. But John.... he and I have several similarities. He has some views of the world or habits that I share. After, rather while the scene, pretty much at the end of the novel, John came for a visit for only one day - when there was the party at Mr. Woodhouse´s house -, he wondered why Mr. Weston would still come to the party even though he had to work and travel all day. John would rather stay at home and relax instead of going to a party. When I read that I was like ".... Dude, you're awesome :D". I love him, really. He's not better than his brother but still extremely awesome.
And it was really funny to read it in English. I didn't want to buy a German version (and not only because I need the book for university); firstly because I enjoy reading in English, secondly because I love to read older English (even if I only understand two thirds of it), thirdly because many, many subtle puns or criticism cannot be translated and it would be a shame to not get them (if I get them at all -.- Yay for the invention of notes).
All in all it is an awesome book and I told my mother to read it as well. She will not read it in English but oh well. At least she will read the awesomeness. :D If you do not already have read it or own it, BUY IT NOW! It's awesome.
