Dear hermit,

I think you're not giving the experience a fair shake. Suppose these new mages practice a form of magic you're unfamiliar with? It would be quite enlightening for you, and I'm sure your dragon friend would approve of that. Knowledge, after all, is the greatest earthly pursuit, is it not? I'm sure you'll find it an educating experience.
