Louise is adorable. (In a way an exaggerated Aileen, actually. In regard to being motherly at least.)

And her support with Pent is adorable. Just as her support with Erk 8D

Bad raphi, showing me all the shiny.

8D

Edit:

The musical episode of Scrubs is still one of the best XD

Also, ahgiewnf why is the English voice of the janitor so sexy?

Edit2:

Is Elphin actually blind? I somehow always assumed that he was. I don't even know why. Hm.

Louise! ♥ I love Louise so much, she's so sweet and nice and probably the perfect mother. ;_; And Pent/Louise in general is just, d'awww!

As for Elphin's blindness, I've been really curious about that myself for a while since I've seen it mentioned in fics before, so I looked it up. Looks like he really is blind though, in a sense:

Elphin: That voice... Is it Douglas?
Douglas: Can you not see, your Majesty? I thought your eyes had recovered...
Elphin: I still temporarily go blind sometimes... I will be fine once I rest for a while.
Douglas: ...I heard that the side effects of the poison had blinded you for several months... Forgive me, my prince... If only I had been on my guard, you would never have suffered this horrible fate...

It's adorable how they "adopt" so many people as their kids.

Ah, that makes sense. And is pretty interesting. (And a convenient plot device, really -.-)

Pent and Louise are khaethkjshtka adorable.

Also, Pent's supports with Canas? The very definition of adorkable. Seriously.

And yes - as [livejournal.com profile] professor_tammi mentioned, Elphin does still have periodic blindness, which doesn't seem to be something anyone can cure. (My headcanon, which I've seen some others theorize about as well, says he eventually goes completely blind. But that's just me.)

They arrrrrrrrrrrrrrre.

But the darkness wants to nom Canas! D8

Oh, that would be my headcanon as well, probably. (And it's already my headcanon that both Hayden and Innes go blind in the end.)

I knowww.
Elibe's dark magic, IMO, is scarier than Magvel's. I mean, sure, Magvel has the DK and all that, but. . . I mean, Elibe's dark magic makes you want to be eaten. It's like. . seductive, even. "Come deeeeper~ It's pretty in here~ also I have cake. Darkness cake. With that frosting you like. You know the kind. Mmmmmmmm~"

Black magic, aka DK, in Magvel noms you literally. In Elibe it only noms up your braaaaaaaaaaain like a zombie 8D
But I thought that Darkness had cookies! D8 I FEEL BETRAYED, NUUUUUUUUUUUU. Can I have pudding? I like pudding moar.

Archanea's dark magic destroys your will, but apparently the light magic and other holy weapons can do that too. So, yeah, Elibean dark magic is waaaaay more interesting than what Gharnef is using.

Then again, some Elibean dark magic is the same thing as Archanean light magic. Heh.

Are Elibe and Archanea connected in some way (like Jugdral and Archanea (well, I believe it were those two))? Because, omg that would actually be delicious 8D And I smell a fascinating AU 10 miles against the wind!

Jugdral and Archanea are on the same planet, though the games set there take place about 1,000 years apart. Elibe isn't connected officially to them that I've ever seen, but some fans, including me, think Archanea is the world on the other side of Elibe's Dragons' Gate.

My take?

Elibe aka Ereb = Erebus = Hell. It's the world where the dragons were purged and banished, which makes it the "underworld" to the redeemed world of Archanea/Jugdral... which may possibly evolve into Magvel somewhere along the line but that's a different line of headcanon.

Which might be how "light magic" turned into "dark magic," maybe. But Roy kinda redeems Elibe itself in the end, by sparing Idoun.

Maybe that's what Canas means by elder magic~?

"Hey guys, it's not evil! Actually, this used to be downright holy! I swear!"
. . . I think I like that a lot.

But yes - what I find interesting, gathered from Canas' various supports, is how appealing it remains despite the danger, how it remains fascinating instead of becoming abhorrent the way other universes treat it. (And thus, a thousand abandoned fics were born.)

Well, it's fascinating to some. I believe to most people being eaten by darkness sounds really scary. And it doesn't sound like there is no turning back (well, in an early state, at least). You need to be a certain type of person to keep going.

Personally, I get the sense that there's something intoxicating about it. It's like the kind of thing that makes people gawk at car wrecks, or keep watching scary movies even though we know they're frightening, that kind of bizarre attraction, you know?

I think it's a certain kind of person who chooses to study it to begin with - but that anyone who did could easily be drawn in deeper than they'd originally planned to go.

Yeah, but some people are also able to keep from doing that. I believe you really need to have a special sort curiosity to be nommed.

Hmhm, yeah, when they don't watch for themselves.
