I've sent the Christmas Cards today :3 I have no idea how long the shipping takes at this time of the year, so sooner is better than later.

Unrelated to that, I really kinda want to write a Fado Survives AU. My only excuse and reason is Game Needs Moar Fado and the whole thing is mostly... pointless.

But moar Fado~ Also, Fado with only one arm, because headcanon says that he loses his sword arm in the fight with Vigarde. The fun potential is high with this one. Unfortunately the laziness of this writer is also high...

Even more unrelated to the above stuff; Lego Piraten makes me rofl. I mean, we are talking about PIRATES. So even though Willy´s dad was hanged for crimes he didn't do, he was still a pirate and a criminal. He stole gold. He is a bad guy. Really. And you cannot tell me that Roger is a "good" guy. He is also a pirate, not just an "adventurous daredevil". Lol. It's okay, really, you make it clear that almost everybody in these audio books is corrupt or a criminal in some way. Pirates are good.

PS: I still want Roger/Baddog slash sooooooooooo badly. :(

I can only write in Starbucks, it seems. But if I go to Starbucks more often, I'll be broke too soon XD That said, the doll!Lyon and Ephraim story is kinda fun. Though I'm still indecisive about the ending. Good end or sad end? Don't know yet. Also, the other protagonists are fun to write as well.

Also, I was bored and looked through a bit of my old stuff and found my contest piece for the "Mary Sue/Gary Stu" challenge from way back. I still find it funny. If anyone remembers; I was the anon on the anon meme who said that my tactician OC is an alien. 8D A green blob from outer space. It was all very fun in my head.

I'Ve finally connected my Wii to the internet and downloaded some old games (Secret of Mana 8DDDDDDDDDDDDD, Kirby´s Fun Pak and Zelda: Majora´s Mask (Sooooo good)). I also got one of the WiiWare games, "Anima: Ark of the Sinner".

It's... it's interesting. The story is nice and the atmosphere is pretty cool. However... it has two big, big minus points. 1. The main protagonist Celia has just jumped out of a wet dream. That outfit... Bah. Fanservice in a rather disgusting way. Especially since you can't really distinguish between her skin and her white clothes while playing. In the still pictures that tell the story, you can see them (which are otherwise pretty). 2. The fighting system sucks. Celia is incredibly slow and takes sooo long to react. Unfortunately, the enemies are quick. And only one hit drains, like, a fourth of Celia´s health. >8( Also, the way you have to evade the enemies is so, so annoying. Celia can't block, but has to roll out of the way. Which doesn't always work. And when you combine that with the points above, the fighting is incredibly frustrating and you die often. Also, jumping is a bit strange, but okay.

And yet, "Anima" is strangely addictive. When it's not unfair, it's fun. I'm still not sure if it's worth 1000 Wii Points.

So, I almost forgot that I also wanted to read FE5 XD Which I have now. And...

Doriasssssssssss ;A; Y u die like dis? You made me tear up. I loved your disagreements with August. They were so much fun. I didn't give a fuck about all of those guys and girls dying in FE4, but Dorias, nuuuuuu. ;w; So unfair.

So, surprisingly, I liked many of the characters. And I even liked Leaf 8D Weee, the first lord that I actually like from the very beginning~ There are no characers that really stick out (apart from August and Dorias with the "banter"), but overall reading it made me feel happy :D

The only slightly negative thing was that towards the end the story felt very... like they were stretching it artificially. It had a strange low.

Also, I have a strange fondness of Blume. I just... I don't know exactly why. Part of it is his name (roflmao) and the other part... no idea XD

(Also, why is there a dude called "Trude"? XD It's such an old ladies name.)

I still haven't finished reading FE6, oops.

I didn't think there were so many names to lol about in Genealogy of Holy War (I'm just copying and formatting the script, not closely reading it), but you know, after all those strange fantasy names and speshul spelling variants of normal names, "Schmidt" is giving me the rest. I don't know if I'll ever be able to take this game serious. (That and I'll never remember all the names of the NPCs around and families and COUNTRIES because Information Wave Washes Over Me. Oh, and I still remember my bad feelings about it when I was playing the first few chapters a year ago or so. And my opinion can be... stubborn)

I still like Ehtlin, though. 8D

Also, Trabant is still made of the most lol ever. Seriously.

Edit: Okay, no, "Blume" is the most hilarious name until now. Oh ma gawd, roflmao forever XD

Fado is a really unlucky dude. (But Lyon and funnily enough Valter have worse Lck when they "join")

Viggy has 9. When even Viggy has 9 Lck, Fado had never a chance XD (That and Viggy has an S in lance, while Fado only has A. Viggy is the ~master of lances~)

Also interesting: you get Hayden if you kill 200 monsters in Lagdou in one run, not when you clear a floor. I am surprised. (Hm, can that mean something...?)

And I'm suddenly motivated to finally get Fado. Because Fado.

(Also, both Viggy and Hayden have anima as affinity. Fado is ~fire~. Oh ho ho~ (Yes, I am easily amused at the moment)) Edit: Fado and Ephraim have the same affinity. They really ARE very similar (as Hayden mentioned a few times). Intriguing.

Markus might be my favourite character from FE7. (Ffffffffffff, the ones that fandom doesn't particularly care for always manage to become my favourites ;w; And old dudes. Knoll: It is possible, General. Possible and, at times, easy. Just think of it: If you knew a storm was coming in advance, you could evacuate everyone in its way. If you could see what was to come, you could help those who might have died.

You know, it would be AWESOME if we got some Final Destination plot twist. That Death is all like "NO WAY YOU FUCKERS" and even more catastrophes come because Lyon and the others prevented the people to die from the first one. And they continue to save them and with every prevented catastrophe, Death sends an even bigger in response 8D And in the end everyone dies because the last earthquake is so big that Magvel is swallowed by the sea.

That would be awesome. (And the angst that would be had XD)

Bro update: Last part of the Uni AU on ff.net and dreamwidth 8D

Another strange thing, loosely connected to the bros... I had a really, really strange dream again. I got three guinea pigs. Which all looked like the bros (Fado was not turquoise but Viggy´s fur was definitely slightly bluish). Which was hilarious even in my dream. Then suddenly I noticed that Fado was not Fado but Fadia. XD I was highly amused. And I separated them then since I thought "Wouldn't want her to get pregnant". But then there was a time skip and surprise, surprise, Fadia was pregnant XD And I spend a long time debating who would be the father and which constellation would be more awesome and it was hilarious. In the end, they were both fathers XD Oh lawd, what does that mean (I do hope that it was some kind of prophetic dream because, dude, bro piggys, do want).

Also, there were two cute rats and one alien dog. With stripes. And I called

hooves over because "ZOMG, the dog has stripes and looks like a zebra!" Roflmao, strange alien dog. But she didn't like it because the dog had yellow rings on its fur :( XD

I just woke from a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally strange dream 8I

It started kinda innocent. It looked a bit like Utena-land (why I don't know; I didn't even finish that anime). Anyway, two person who looked like Anthy with long hair and an Utena with green hair appeared and we were in some kind of school. They had a fight earlier (where I wasn't present, but I knew). Then two guys (or girls?) turned up and both long hair Anthy and green Utena moved close to them. With kinda strange and sad expressions. Felt like a lover's fall out or something. Then there was a sudden flash and they and a few others turned into books. And suddenly Fado was there too! I don't know where he came from but he was pulled there or something and he turned into a book as well. Then some villain(?) came and picked Fado´s book up and said something about Fado being the Storyteller. Or something. ò-ó Well, then we are suddenly in a fantasy land/desert and someone captures Fado (after he met all kinds of Disney villains and Disney-esque persons) and bring him to Evil King Innes. I did know that Hayden had been the true king but Innes was evil and imprisoned Hayden in a magical locket and now rules while using his father´s magic (Yeah, Hayden turned into a mage...)

Then there was a strange cut and I saw "real life" Hayden being pulled into the fantasy land as well. But he turned into a lion. >> Yeah, I was surprised as well. Anyway, somehow he's in the castle and sees that Innes has captured Fado. Then Hayden of course rescues Fado and they flee.

About then I woke up and was all like O_o "Wooooooah". Funnily, as soon as Fado appeared in the dream I was all like ">8o Hey! Now finally show his face, I want to make icons!" for almost the rest of the dream. O.o I was... seemingly thinking I was watching an anime. With the bros (well, two bros. But Viggy would've surely joined them later)

Okay, okay, you really shouldn't let my mind stroll. It always comes up with crack. I was contemplating my above mentioned Moulder/Hayden story and mentioned in it a cousin of Hayden who was supposed to be marked as Frelian and Renais. Without thinking much while writing (because I never think much while writing) I gave her dark green hair. But, then I noticed "Waaaaaaaaaaait. Green is not Renais-only. Frelia has it as well." That, of course, only added crack fuel to the fire in my head. Cue theorizing about the ~special and close~ relationship between Frelia and Renais (yes, Fado/Hayden was definitely involved and made everything delicious). Which then turned into this:

Frelia/Renais is totally an on-and-off couple with cute bantering. Grado is jealous because he's in love with Renais as well and Renais is a flirty country but doesn't mean it seriously and only loves Frelia. Jehanna stands on the side and is all like "... Dude, whatever" while Rausten is all like ";^; Celibacy sucks." because Rausten is really naughty and kinky deep inside.

Oh lawd. I ship it.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFfffffffffffffffffffffffff. Okay, gonna stop now.

Well, almost. If I had more people to ship him with, Fado would totally be my fandom bicycle. Seriously, in my head he has an amazing chemistry with everybody. Fffffffffffffffffffffff.

First I was thinking about self-analyzing myself again, but I don't believe anyone wants to read how I (incoherently!) ramble about why I can write certain characters but not others XD and how I always put something of myself into the characters (most of the time just a really tiny thing. Just a little quirk, maybe). And don't worry, I always check if it fits the characters personality. But, as I said, no one would want to read that.

Instead I tried to stop associate the voice of the singer of Turisas with Fado because the voice just fits Fado. (And the mental picture of Fado with their face painting is just rolftastic. ~~Add a kilt and you have Braveheart in red/black XD~~)

Oh, and I have Viggy angst for you (on dreamwidth). Because Viggy angst is my favourite flavour of angst. Originally that was supposed to be the meme fill of raphi´s prompt "smile", but then I thought it didn't fit and raphi probably wouldn't want Vigarde angst anyway. And Lucius had been my first idea anyway (well, then I forgot it, got inspired with Viggy angst, wrote it, and then remember Lucius and wrote that one).

And since I'm on the topic of Vigarde... You know, I don't particular care if people read my (bro) stuff. I just put it out there and people can decide if it's their cup of tea or not (and enjoy it silently or not. As long as they have fun, I don't care 8D). And still it feels kinda... weird to post all my bro stuff on ff.net. It's all very irrational and contradictory but... sometimes I wonder what people think when they see my bro stuff. Something like "that strange person writes about minor characters nobody cares about, lol". It does not exactly bug me but... AGH! I don't know. It feels weird. I'm wondering if I should even bother posting there sometimes because sometimes I believe no one cares anyway. But then I also don't really care if other people care at the same time >:/ This is such a strange weirdness and I know it's contradictory but I still feel both feelings. Aaaah, why so complicated? Oh well, feelings are rarely logical or coherent or make sense. *sigh*

Oops, now I did self-analyze without planning it XD Oh, and I'm kinda sick. Dammit. I have to hold a presentation tomorrow >:/
